We already know that Facebook has grown bigger than Google in a few countries; we also know that twitter is big, and can send incredible amounts of web traffic to your website! On top of that, Google has launched its own version of twitter, called Google Buzz!

The era of social media is on the rise, and websites/blogs everywhere have to integrate social media sharing tools to allow their content to be shared as easily as possible!

Download the SmartShare wordpress plugin to add all the share buttons to your articles and posts! (Just like the share buttons you see on the left hand side of this tutorial).

Clicking the button below will take you to another site (Oronjo.com) – It will ask if you like to donate, but this is not required at all to download the plugin.

Once installed – go to Smart Sharing settings to configure the plugin (it will not be visibly until this is done).

You can even add custom buttons like Google Buzz – just copy the code below to add a Google Buzz share button:

<div class=”sharer”> <a title=”Post on Google Buzz” class=”google-buzz-button” href=”http://www.google.com/buzz/post” data-button-style=”normal-count”></a>
<script TYPE=”text/javascript” src=”http://www.google.com/buzz/api/button.js”></script></div>

And finally – once you save the changed settings, you can view the floating share buttons; you can adjust their height – I recommend keeping it slightly lower than the default settings (also depends on your wordpress theme) as that is the area where readers will be looking.

If you liked this tutorial, please do share it with your friends by clicking share on any of the social media buttons in the left.
